For some individuals, social communication and interaction may feel different or require additional effort. Sensory experiences can also be more intense or distinct, influencing how environments are perceived and navigated. These differences may impact daily functioning, including relationships.
At LINA ZONE, we create opportunities for adults +17 to meet, talk, play, and build meaningful connections and relationships with others who share similar experiences, helping clients feel understood, included, and supported in a safe environment.
We offer a supportive social group for adults 17+ with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to help practice social interaction and build meaningful connections with each other.
Please note that we do NOT provide autism assessments.
By fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that prioritizes emotional well-being, we aim to help individuals with Down syndrome build resilience and improve their quality of life.
We offer a supportive social club for adults with Down syndrome, where peer groups help build confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.
Everybody is welcome!
Clients are encouraged to move at their own pace, with no pressure around silence, eye contact, or nervousness. As comfort grows over time, evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), are used to help reduce social anxiety symptoms.
At Lina Zone, we understand that the core symptoms of ADHD have a biological basis. At the same time, thoughts, emotions, habits, and environmental factors can influence how these symptoms are experienced in daily life. Through evidence-based therapy and practical skill-building, individuals can learn effective strategies to better manage challenges related to attention, time management, emotional regulation, and daily functioning.
*Please note that we do not provide formal ADHD diagnoses or prescribe medication.
